Question about main/rod/cam bearings

Building up a 78 440 for a bit over 500 horse. I'm putting the short block together and I'm looking at the clevite "H" series bearings. Just curious with other people experience using them or if there are better bearings available.

Also...could I get some recommendations on good pistons for that much power?

I have to do my own 440 as well and found some good info on the 440 source site.
I have not read it all yet, but the little i did was informative.

clevite bearings are very good. stock 440 and replacement pistons are heavy. lighter pistons would be better, but require a balance job. for 500 hp you want around 10.5:1 compression ratio
