Question about vinyl top.

Looking at a 68 dart with a vinyl top right now, probably a lot of fun under it. My question is how exactly is it held on? Rivets and glue or something? Not necessarily going to change it to a non vinyl hardtop but just wondering whats involved? Thanks.

They are glued on with molding, windshield, and back window rubber holding down the edges

Hmm so how difficult will it be to get it off and possibly leave it off?

well i took the top off my 73...

as stated you need to remove all the trim to get it completely off...

and then comes the glue... its just solid, hateful stuff if you want to paint it...
