QUESTION ON DOUGS HEADERS 67-72 Abodies

hey buds, so I was wonder on Doug headers they tuck in on top of the steering center link for better clearance versus the cheaper headers which have the center link run through the middle on the driver side and hang low.

My question is do the collectors still have the same height/clearance off of the ground just like the cheaper hooker/summit headers?

My Doug's were considerably tighter to the floor pan, but it's also where the cheapo ones hang down. They hang down between the wheels so when the front suspension compresses, the exhaust goes lower because it's further from the center of the car. When they hang low in the middle of the car, then both ends have to compress to get the same change in ground clearance.
