Question on numbers matching resto

Hey guys, question for the restorers here. What would I have to have on this 73 h code to say its "matching numbers"value wise? And if i change the paint color how much would it effect things.

To be numbers matching you need the original, drive-train components (engine and transmission). Those components are stamped with the cars vin. The stampings match the vin.... That's the numbers matching part.

In the world of restored cars, correctness and originality is the value.

Any departures from stock, can lower the value.


But, that's only if you plan on selling and marketing the car as a restored original.

Gold is a great color.
