383 .484 purple cam. Put this on new out of box ran great sent car to body shop got it back after 2 years while putting the dart back together started it up let it run for a while ran good then one day would start or run. Opened it up and there was crap in the bowls so I clean it out good put a rebuild kit in it. When cold will start and idle then once it warms a little it dies. If I throttle it I can keep it running but instant I let off gas it just dies I throw my 625 Edelbrock on there and it's fine. I'm stumped taken the carb apart like 4 times nothing's plugged

Sounds like Ethanol fuel mix caused the problem from sitting, drawing moisture.

Time for a deep cleaning in the Ultrasonic Cleaner.

[1] Put the Edel carb back on..
[2] Go to boat marina & see if anybody needs an anchor....

Did you soak it in in cleaner like Berryman and blow it out with compressed air and run mechanic's wire through ALL the passages in the metering blocks and main body? If no, then you left out some vital parts of a rebuild.

You absolutely have to take the plugs out of the metering blocks and clean out the main wells.

There is still dirt in it or something.

There’s always one clown blaming the carb when in fact it’s not the carb’s fault it sat for years in a nasty, dirty body shop for two years.

No carb likes dirt.
