Quick Jack

I bought a Quick Jack car lift (portable unit) this Summer and it has worked out really well. I leave it in the middle of the garage and park the car right over it. It only takes a couple of minutes to position it and the rubber blocks, hit the button and the car is up about 20 inches.
It might be a little to good because my buddy borrowed it and who knows when it will come back, LOL.

I just googled that thing. Pretty neat. What made you get that as opposed to the many mid-rise scissor lifts available for about the same price that will raise the car about 4'??

the reason I went this way was that I can/drop a trans/exhaust work/drive shaft or anything in the middle is accessible//easy to transport
