I like the 73 up A body being narrower then our early A bodies, I just learned this not long ago .

The axle flange to axle flange measurement is going to be 57" plus a hair over 1/16 on each side for the brake drum on your 65. Housing end to housing end is correct at 53.2 but the 8-3/4 on that chart should be 52-5/8.

That part is accurate, A-body rear end widths were different for the 7.25 for different years, and the 7.25 and 8 3/4 were different lengths from each other too.

But there's a TON of inaccurate info on that chart. Like, B bodies. B-body 8 3/4's were NOT the same length from "62-70" as it states, not even close.

This info is just for 8 3/4's, but it lists everything and all of it is accurate. I added the 8.25" rear info that I had on F-bodies.

It's a shame that chart couldn't be deleted from the web or corrected somehow. It seems to be posted whenever someone is looking for axle dimensions and it is incorrect.

Thanks for the information. I have a lot of those measurements but I was missing several. Glad to have some I can be confident in.
