Quick truck question: Power to manual steering on D150, adaptor ??

I also did that on my dart. On my 75 B body column tho, it's an odd duck. And it has a rag joint instead of a round shaft. I think it's gonna need something welded on.

I'm home, I usually never work Sat & Sun. I work next week. Weather today was sunshine but only 33 degrees. I got a lot done to the truck today

Anyone know off the top if I need an adaptor? Or does my column pull out ? I'm pretty sure the manual box is shorter than the power box. Maybe something like this? It slides 17.5 to 26 inches.

I know this thread is a few years old, but I found it while trying to do my own power to manual swap. May I ask where you got your steering box & pitman arm? I'm currently trying to convert my 83 D150.

bought one off ebay. came with pitman arm
