I built a new engine for my 67 Plymouth drag car
Where I most often race , the way it was I got chased about 90% of the time by MUCH faster cars in the no box class .
I've had enough !
So, I built a new motor and getting new transmission and converter
There is nothing wrong with any of these parts , The 383 must make about 450 hp roughly
when weather isn't horrible , best last year was 11.33 , car weighs 3250 with me in it full of fuel
383 , ported #906 heads ..
Comp 540 solid cam ..
crane rockers
direct connection chrome valve covers
M1 intake ..
Holley HP850 carb..
Direct connection oil pan ..
Mopar perf alum water pump ..
12.5 TRW pistons
Overall just a super solid good running , working motor can hear run
Trans is a 727 , with a brake, works perfect no issues
Coan trans brake converter
basically, I'm taking my driveline out from driveshaft forward and replacing it
needed ?
Most likely I was better off before ( haha)
