John/68 Barracuda & Dart
During the era that our cars were being produced racing stripes were very popular and available on most every make, model, or style. If you`ve got a racing stripe on your car please post a picture of it here along with your make, model, and year plus any information or code you might have on it. If it`s a custom stripe ,post that too. My 68 Dart GTS has what is called the Rallye Stripe, (I learned this from an old Dodge brochure) a full length horizontal stripe that runs along the center line of the body. A trunk stripe was also available and was referred to as the Bumblebee stripe. You could also opt for no stripe. My Dart`s stripe is option number 313 on the build sheet and 3 on the fender tag. Here`s my Dart , please post your car`s stripe.
