I have a Chrysler radiator that has p/n 2888072 stamped into the top tank. It has a pass side water inlet and outlet with a trans cooler in the bottom tank. Does anyone have a reference source that would tell what this is supposed to fit?

Maybe read the stamped number again. If it's actually 2898072 it's from a '68 C body with 440 and A/C. 2888072 isn't a valid # afaik

I think you mean 2898072, there are no 2888072 radiators.
that would be for a 68 chrysler 26 inch 440 non HP.

Thx to both of you. I went and rechecked in the back of the garage - you are both correct (as expected!). The lighting is not the best but that's just a lame excuse. As you said, the P/N IS 2898072. And it is a 26" wide unit. So now I know!!
