Up for sale are three repro delete plates; one each dashboard radio and heater delete plate and one blower motor hole cover. I bought these to use on my own car but ended up finding real, factory parts. I no longer have a need for these so I'm putting them up for sale.
These will fit '70-'72 A body cars with the standard dash layout (non-rallye). The blower motor cover will only work on non-A/C cars with the smaller firewall hole.
I will be up front, these are not perfect. The guy who makes these used some sort of cast/resin type stuff that took some work to make presentable. I did my best to make them look as 'factory' as possible using various spray can paints. They are good for a driver or a race car but not 100% factory correct in any way, shape or form. The blower motor cover is probably the closest to being correct. To make them look correct, they would probably have to be sent out to a place that restores dash/trim parts and can do vacuum plating.
The heater panel is missing one of the studs but you can swap the mounting hardware from the original pieces. The radio panel has studs molded into it. Both plates fasten to the back of the dash with thread cutting nuts which you can get from any well-stocked hardware store.
The radio panel has some schmutz that got on it from sitting on the shelf, not sure what it is. If it's a deal breaker, I can sand it down and repaint it. I used SEM textured coating.
I would like to sell these as a set but may consider separating if necessary. Honestly though, it wouldn't make much sense to buy the heater panel without the blower plate and if you're deleting stuff from the car, why not go the full Monty? Besides, finding real, factory pieces is next to impossible, especially the heater delete panel. Here's a chance to get all three in one deal, no searching.
