Radio antenna

Working on a 66 Dart post car, and I was wondering about the hole in the pass side fender for the antenna. I have metra 44 power antenna that was mickey moused onto the car when I got it. Body work being in progress I would like to repair the damage around the mounting hole or possibly weld a washer on the back side to fit a universal??? antenna. HELP

Link is for a retractable antenna that goes down to flush, like with a car cover. I have used this style before and really liked how simple it is.

Thanks AMX 364 for your reply regarding my power antenna. This place doesn't sell the separate hardware for my power antenna made by Metra. What I did was go to my local auto zone and buy a cheepie ($10) complete standard antenna made by the same company and took off the hardware that I needed off and deep sixed the rest.
