Anyone know why the b-body radio would/would not fit in a 68 cuda if the mounting tabs were orientated horizontally?

The lens has a center peak in it where a A body radio has a flat lens.
I found a 69 B body radio in my 69 dart when I got it and It was close but not
right. They had ground some plastic off the back side of the dash bezel around the lens
and radio was in there but bezel wouldn't sit flat.
