BigD's 72' Duster

Guest
Hi everyone, I'm 15 and just recently bought a 1972 Plymouth Gold Duster which i plan on making into a 340 clone. I have a set of 14" ralleyes for it and was wondering what style and color of center caps would've been correct for this year.

They are the acorn style, similar to those used in 1973 and later, however they are the small bolt pattern version

the 1972 Dart /Duster/Demon Rallye centre caps are a one-year-only deal , and no one reproduces 'em ( not much of a calling for 'em ) .

what make them unique to the A bodies is :
- 1st year for the redesign
- Last year for the 5x4" bolt circle pattern*

*= yes , I'm aware of the '73 through 31-12-75 drum brake-equipped cars ; but , how many of those were equipped with Rallye's ?

Unless you're going for a restoration , just swap either to the '70-'71 caps or swap to the big bolt pattern (5x4.5" "B" , "C" , "E" and
"F" cars ) Rallye wheels and their Acorn-style caps .
