rally dash question

Hi all, I already searched but can not find my answer. I am in the process of restoring the dash on my 72 demon. It is non rally, but am considering converting. Wiring is not a concern for me, my question is what exactly must be cut on the standard dash to make it accept a rally? I do not have one available to eye up, and even a bezel is big money. I would rather know for sure what is up prior to a big spend. I do appreciate the help
