Rallye mirror help

I just bought a set of rallye mirrors from a guy on moparts that where supposed to be ready to paint and bolt on, I might be a little pickier then him though.

Main issue is the driverside mirror is loose on it's post, it will wiggle around I took it apart but the cable and everything seem to be one peice. In between the mirror and the cable atachment point there is/was a clip with fingers to put tension on the mirror, one side of the clip is broken off. Is there anyway to fix this?

There's suppost to be some one in Canada that rebuilds those but don't know who it is. If you can get tighten the stud and mount the mirror don't worry about adjusting the it. Just set and forget. It'll look good.

my passenger side mirror is loose on the post also, i still gotta pull it off to see if i cant tighten it
