rb boiled and temp goes over 250f

Hi, im new here and my english is not good but try understand this. My water pump belt broke and when i notice it temp was between 250-260f.. i put reserve belt in the engine very fast to get engine run and cool down. Water and oil are not mixed in radiator or oli pan, it does not make pressure in radiator and it not burn water/no white smoke from exhaust.

Motor is stroked rb whit edel rpm heads, 11.5 cr forged ross pistons etc.. oil capasity Is 8 quarts. oil is valvoline vr1 20w-50.

It is possible that there is no damage in engine even whit those temperatures? Car works normally, there is no excessive sound etc.. But what in engune get damage first in that situation? heads and head gaskets of cores but i think they are ok becouse there is no water/oil mix and no pressure in radiator and no white smoke in exhaust. But how abaut the piston rings etc.?

Sounds like you might have gotten lucky.

you do sound lucky. i'd change the oil before driving too much.

also make sure you are not over-tighting the belt and make sure your pullies are smooth / no burrs, and the pullies are aligned.
