rear disk brake offset

I was searching around wilwoods website and i noticed for their rear disk brakes they have some different offsets for the 8 3/4 and danas. I was just curious as to what the offset means, and how you know which offset you need. Thanks

I think you are talking about axle flange to the housing flange distance. On A Body stock axles (4 " BC) this distance is 2 inch's. I beleive that all other car lines and most after market axles that change 4 BC to 4.5 BC (Like Yukon) are 2.36 inches.
Can any one else can confirm this.

Yup, my yukon's that I just put in had about 1/4" more sticking out from the bearing than the stockers did.
