The left rear drum brake on my 70 Duster seems be sticking. I have had the wheels off several times working on the differential and each time I back the adjusters off. Then when I go to remove the drum the next time the left rear brake is tight and appears to be hanging up. There was a lot of brake dust when I took it apart the last time. The tranny shop just adjusted them a few weeks ago. I just put the diff. back together tonight and took the car for a spin. When I got home I washed the car. When I hit the left rear wheel steam came off it. I would assume that the drum is hanging up again.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

Wheel cyl may be hanging up?, broken/bad return spring? adjuster in backwards? air in system? shoes installed reversed? just a few things that can be overlooked. good luck
