The rear brakes on my dart are completely shot(locked up and lord knows how old) and I'm not wanting to convert to disc in the back, just entirely replace the drum assembly on both sides.

I've never done this before(but will have my mechanic buddy helping me out so I don't screw it up) and don't have access to the car at the moment to see what all is there, so what would I need to do an entire replacement?

If you really want to do EVERYTHING, you need 2 brake drums, 2 wheel cylinders, a set of brake shoes and a hardware kit.

You'll also need some brake fluid & it would help to have a set of brake spring pliers but they're not absolutely necessary. If your buddy has done it before maybe he has the tools?

He definitely has the tools, I just cant get ahold of him to get a parts list. Thanks for the help.
