rear end and driveshaft question

I have a 74 stock duster that i m restorting and i would like to know what rear end is in it and if my stock driveshaft and rearend can stand up to 300+ hp

depends what the orginal motor was

300+ hp shouldn't be any problem if it's a 8-1/4 or 8-3/4. If it's the smaller 7-1/4 it won't last much above 250 hp. Here's a link to a page on Moparts with pics of the different rear's used. You can tell each easily by their pic.
