I can't remember where I read it, but somewhere I saw that all A-Body 8 3/4 rear ends are SBP. Can anybody shed some light on this? Also can you use a B-Body 8 3/4 on an A-Body car without much modification?

all you need is big bolt pattern axles for your a-body housing and get the backing plates and brakes off a b-body.
