rear end

Does anyone know what rear end was in a 1985 Ramcharger? I stuck my head under it and it has a back cover on the housing so I know that it is not an 8-3/4. I have the opportunity to maybe get this rear end very cheap and was thinking that it would be an 8-3/4 but no luck. It is a 4x4 auto 318. Could it be an 8-1/4 or did they come with dana 60's? I was going to use it in the Dart that I am building for my wife.

I'll go along with a 9 1/4 rear. Common rear in trucks.

So then I am assuming that it is nothing special and not worth doing anything with as far as for bracket racing.

i just took the 8.25 out of mine,and swapped in the 8.75 out of my oldblue 72 truck

Wow that link was just what I was looking for in the first place. Then I wouldn't have had to even bother you guys with this trivial question. I will have to go and look at it more closely but if I remember correctly it is a 9-1/4. Thank you for your help and I will do more research next time so that I don't waste your time on such simple silly questions. Sorry everybody.
