I am going to be taking my rear end out of my 67 barracuda soon. I don't like the idea that it will be sitting on jack stands. Not that it wont be safe but I like the idea of being able to move the car around. I have it on the dollies that go under the tires right now. I have every thing I need but the steel & casters to build something. Anyone have any ideas ? What to build ? Where to mount it ?

I would remove the bumper and attach the casters to the bumper mounting points.
 
How about the places where the front of the leaf spring bolts to the body? That is a heavily reinforced area. Plus you have 4 bolt holes on each side. I would think it would be easy enough to fab and weld something and bolt it in there. I would also think that area would be plenty strong enough.
 
I thought about that but wasn't sure if would be strong & sturdy enough
The way I see it is, these cars came with a bumper jack from the factory and were designed to be lifted from the bumper that sticks out further than the mounting points, putting more leverage on the mounting points than just lifting directly from the mounting points. And you’re removing the rear end which removes a significant amount of weight.
 
I took the easy way out on mine and just tack welded them to the rear frame rails

When I back-halfed my Valiant, I just built a dolly system that went across the car, temporarily tack welded to the front/rear subframe.
This is how I rolled the car on and off the trailer to the stripper and epoxy undercoater. Top pic before, bottom pic after stripping and coating.

someone told me to check USCARTOOL they sell ones that bolt to where the leaf springs go looks simple enough to make

That is what I used front and back! Very simple and easy maneuvering. Worth every dime in my opinion. I have a set I no longer need but you can likely get them just as cheap with shipping from US car tool!

I also welded up a custom lift bracket for the front dollies for easy drive train install in a standard height 2car garage. No holes in the car that are not already there. The US units held up very well through the whole process of strip/repair and multiple transport to and fro!

These work for A,B, E and likely more.

USCARTOOL wants 270 for the rear ones I can make them & not have that much in them
