Hi there,
I have just bought a '67 Dart. I want to have a retractor seat belt solution for all seats. It sounds like this can be done this well enough with the roof mounts for the front so I will follow directions on previous threads for the front etc.
Does the drop loop and belt look OK or does it spoil the hardtop aesthetic?
The REAL trick is going to be fitting 3 x retractors in the back to keep the kids safe. I have sourced some upside down retractors that 'could' mount UNDER the parcel shelf and route into the cabin through a loop. The installer was talking about a large parcel shelf reinforcing brace/ mounting surface connecting to the rear guards. The over-engineered solution might look like a micro roll-bar?
Retractors in/on/near the rear quarters? Are there any other thoughts?
