rear seat brackets

What is the treaded hole for in these brackets? Is it for the belt that hooked over the ends of the rail on that back of the seat? Does anyone have or reproduce these hold down straps? Car is a 1965 Barracuda. Thanks.

65 cuda rear seat holddown strap????

I bought this car in boxes! I found a pair of straps bout 12 in long looked almost like seat belt but has round slot on one end. and other end has 2 small holes big enough for coupl e of screws...... I saw identical pair on...

Here's my extra back seat showing how they attach to the seats. (Yes, my car had a second back seat in the back of it when I found it). lol. Was also curios about the openings in the original seats that are not in the replacement upholstery from Legendary.

This pic was very helpful. I do have those other two pieces, and I'm assuming the bolts are in the bag with the other seat hardware. I had no idea the hold down straps attached behind the sill piece. In a few weeks I'll be starting the process of trying to get all the interior back in the car.

Jeff- I need that hinge and back dividing board.

I have a couple old rusty latches that were on what was left of the ant infested board in the car. I believe Jeff has a couple though in better shape. I don't believe I have these cleats, not sure what you mean. I pretty much had to pry the old hinge out. Everything was rusted to the body.

Looking for hold down straps I came across these. Does anyone know where they attach? I don't believe I've seen any on my 65. Listing says they're for a 65/66 Cuda. The listing is calling them fold down seat latch catch brackets.

we have the cleats! Those are the "nuts" that hold the latches to the divider board.
