Rear Sway Bar

Is anyone here using a sway bar on an A body that has the springs moved in via a spring relocation kit. I would like to use a 1 inch bar that is about 31 or 32 inches wide. The sway bar that is made for the Car is 34 inches wide and bottoms out on the frame. This sway bar that I have now is 34 inches wide from center to center when measearing from the end link holes.
This is going on my 65 Cuda.
