rear valance question

I'm looking at rear valances for a 70 dart, and some say "without tips". What tips are they referring to?

I think what they are referring to is, exhaust cut outs.

I didn't think 70 darts had cut outs for tips. My friend has a 340 70 dart that has the original valance & it has no cut outs

Referring to cut outs for exhaust. That's why it says without for the Dart. Here's an example of with and without for Barracuda.

There is no difference on the Darts between a 340, 318 or /6 car. The later valiences are slightly different (1972 scamp I noticed) with the mounting holes along the top, which is as easy as drilling a few extra holes to mount to an earlier style Dart/scamp.

Auto metal Direct is the only one reproducing these and I have one coming. If you go to there site they only have one available. Looks like somebody mixed up an E-body option on there site with the A-body valiance.

I have an AMD rear valance on mine after getting rear-ended by an old dude on oxygen. It's very nice quality. All the holes lined up perfectly. I couldn't be happier.
