Rear Window Vinyl Top trim Clips

I had my top replaced by a local company that normally does very good work. When I went to pickup the car, I noticed that the chrome bar that goes around the base of the rear window would not set flush to the body. The shop informed me that they would acquire new clips to hold the trim strip from their supply house and this would fix problem.

It's been 2 weeks and every set of clips they get do the same thing. Anyone else experienced this and any recommendation on where I could order clips from?

You could contact Tom @ RT Specialties. BTW: I am sure it is a matter of getting the correct clips but did you check to see if the trim was possibly tweaked a little as well?

If your original clips fit your original vinyl top, then they should fit the new one. Something is out of wack here.
