Just Thank you thread to the Forum for all of the help and advice we here at Rebuilding Generations have received from you already and to let you know that the Duster made it to SEMA 2015 and was displayed in the Optima Alley. an area reserved for the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge Golden Ticket holders. While we did get an assembled car together it is not ready for competition. The Kids did great recording several interviews with our sponsors and some industry greats like Mario Andretti and Courtney Hansen. Charley Hutton is also officially on board to help train our youth in the proper auto body methods from Fabrication to Paint prep.
We look forward to getting Stage 2 complete over the next year. We were in contact with the executives at the Mopar Performance division and they asked to get them more info about the project and a list of Parts we want to complete stage 2.
In the mean time I would like to encourage you to open your shops to the kids in your communities and invite them in. It is up to all of us to pass the torch and passion to the next generation for the industry as whole. Is it scary as heck to let them in and hand them a tool? YES!!!!
