The yearone unit is $520. .....bad enough but the real problem is it will be about 6 months to get it!!!!

It's a 1968 Barracuda under dash harness.

Can anyone recommend a good reliable source to refurbish my butchered harness?

Thanks in advance

Jeff

A soldering iron and some wire would set you back less than $100.00

You could easily do it yourself with a little input from us.

Consider it.

I got a schematic, a good volt meter....sat down with it on my table and quickly got overwhelmed by all the cut wires, crimp-connectors, and Bubba. .....!

I guess I should try again but wow.....it's a mess.

Most of the terminals are available and you can re use your plastic "plugs" I was looking into this a while ago but went another route. On e-bay you can find any color wire you want to keep it stock.

Don't get caught up in the spaghetti.

Just work on one color/wire at a time. If you follow your wiring diagram and take your time it will be fine. I'm an electrician by trade and I know when your looking at a bunch of wires going everywhere it can be intimidating. One color/wire at a time always helps me to be calm and not get overwhelmed.

So you remove a terminal from the plug, replace the wire and the terminal, insert it back into the plastic "plug", then start on another wire.

You can do it.

As long as your not color blind. :D

If you don't want to attempt it, I think there is a forum member - maybe it's Redfish - who does stuff like that.
