So a little while ago I purchased a tail light from a member hear, it needed some tlc which I knew so once I received it I took it all apart to re-condition , this included, sand blast, soak in evaporust, some wire wheel work, weld in some new mount studs, a new socket, then fitted with a new 1157 equivalent LED bulb, and of course a little filler, prime, and paint. I did the same treatment to the matching license plate bracket. This will look amazing on my 56 Dodge truck. Just thought I'd share some before and after photos.

Thanks, I gotta find another, there are re-pops but there is just something about a original part, just think of the Arkansas back roads this thing has seen now it will be cruising around Vancouver Island almost 70 years later! BTW this would be pretty period correct for this old utiline short bed!
