Thank you for keeping us updated on Redhot's 65 Valiant reformation :cheers:
It sure brings back some good memories of closing myself up in a shop and prepping every square inch for sealer, I can still see my shelves lined with tail lights and grills to bumpers waiting to be put back on after the paint was on and buffed out. If it needed it :-D I got lucky a couple of times with low temp reducer in my clear when needed 8)
You did a real good job blending the burned area and explained it well
Don't ya just love base coat clear coat :cheers:

I'll be using the same technique on a tiny little spot on the lower corner of one of my doors.

What size wheels and tires are those?
I have a 63' convertible I am looking to replace the stocks, just trying to get ideas...
