Remove and install new transmission 904 auto

-
Do I need to mark my front driveline yoke to ensure that it goes back in correctly? Doing this job by myself and I am not task confident. But hopefully I can do this. I have jack stands.

No marking the driveshaft needed, as it can go back in any orientation.
Only one choice on removing it.
Take it loose from the diff yoke.

You may also want to tie some plastic around the tailshaft opening to keep from making a big mess.
Another way to avoid a mess - I got an extra 904 yoke from a junk driveshaft and just pushed it in place. I did have to tie it off to secure it to the trans, the thing will slither out at even a very small downhill incline.
