I have a 68 GTS with trunk panel, and I can no way afford to replace this panel and never will care to. But there is a string of constant dents and dings along the bottom edge (like it was hit up from the bottom) for about 10 inches. Is there anything that can be done to repair this? It's the only bad spot on the panel, minus the black paint coating it.

if its stainless it can be straightened with body hammers filed smooth sanded and buffed out.
