Removeing brake drums

I just got an 8 3/4 rear and can't get the drum off,1 side came off when I turned the brake adjuster on the backing plate, but the other side still won't come off after it was loosened and banged on the drum with a hammer, any ideas?

No easy solution for these. Are you sure the adjuster is backed off all the way? When all else fails get a bigger hammer.

I had both of my drums seized on, so I used a crow bar and some pb blaster to get em off.Wasn't reusing them so it didn't matter to me...

Most likely it is rusted up around the axle snout. Hit the face of the drum between the lug studs. Don't be shy hit it hard, they will usually pop away from the axle.
