Removing and reinstalling a vinyl roof

Hey everyone me again

I have another question. I have a 72 Demon that has a couple of rust spots around the front window. The vinyl is perfect by the way. Is it posable to remove the vinyl roof and reinstall it, or should I peel it back make my repairs and reglue the vinyl.

Also the holes are very small, would it be ok to seal the por 15 fill them with there expoxy putty and reglue the vinyl back.

Any help would be great.

I have done this repair. I just peeled the roof back (warm up with a heat gun may help), cleaned the rust off, sealed with POR-15, filled the holes and pits, sand smooth, and apply a little primer and paint to seal the repair. I scraped the old glue and rust that was stuck to the top material off with a dull knife. Then spray a little glue on the roof and top, warm it up with the heat gun and stretch it back down. Should be an invisible repair.
