Removing Bench seat Backs

How do I get the fold down bench seat backs off?
Im going to attempt to recover them.

Look at the pivot point at the bottom outside corners. You need to unbolt both sides and it will lift out, if I recall correctly. It's been a while since I redid mine so it's foggy now, lol.

Mind isnt a bolt I dont think. It looks like its being held on with some sort of retaining washer.

What car? That tidbit is always helpful.

I can't imagine they were all different.

Get a screwdriver and pry that nut out. Then get needle nose and bend it and pull it off. Can't think of the name of those but, they can be purchase at the hardware store. Save it to match the size. I pressed mine on with a socket and hammer. Hope this helps. PM your phone number if you need more help.
