Removing GT emblems badges from C pillar.

Yes it's me and my 66 Dart GT again. I want to remove my GT emblems as shown in the yellow square in the photo. I believe that the emblems are held on with nuts from the back. Is it possible to get to the back of the emblems/bages without removing the headliner? I was hoping that perhaps one might have access at the bottom of the headliner at the bottom of the C pillar. Want to remove for painting.

I just went and checked on my '66 GT. You can't get to them from underneath on the front because there's a sheet metal stiffening member blocking it off. If you arms are thin and long enough you may be able to reach them from the trunk side though. There's a clear line of sight through that path at least. It doesn't look like it would be a fun undertaking.
