Just got around to replacing my rusty old headers with original manifolds. The P.O. shimmed the P.S. motor mount to get the header to clear. My question is what's the best way to remove the shim? Looks like I just need to move the engine a hair and the shim should slide right out. Would it be a good idea to use the manifold as a jack point or the oil pan? Don't like the idea of either, but I don't have a engine hoist. Thanks.

Remove the motor mount nut from underneath, get you piece of wood to protect the oil pan and jack it right up by the pan. Won't hurt a thing.
