Removing sealer in hood

im lightening my hood and i cant get the sealer to let go lol...

any tricks to getting then to let loose?

no heat available so chemicals or any other tricks...

I suggested a torch to soften it,but saw you had no heat available .oops

Its slightly tedious, but i've used sawzall blades and hacksaw blades to saw through it, then used a heat gun to loosen up the rest of the mess left behind. Good luck!!

more worried about warping it than anything

yea i was kinda thinking along the same lines

I'd be more worried about hitting the hood skin with a hammer/chisel/sawzall etc....than about warping it with a torch/heat gun
