Removing the big Black box under my dash for the A/C..

How do i remove it? i dont need it or want it anymore.. Any help will work

It has four studs sticking thru the firewall with nuts under the hood. You have to remove the heat box first, then the a/c box.
This is how my 72 came out, they changed in 73 but should be similar.
If your car is factory air you need that box for defrost and heat unless you find a non a/c heat box to install.

well my defrost doesnt really work anyways becasue they took the ac off my car

Are you wanting to take the whole thing out and delete it? If so these pic's may help. I hope. Good luck What I usually take off all the hadware I can see first. Then giggle wiggle till I locate what is still holding it in place. Hi tech approach I know but it works for me.
