Repainting My 8 3/4

Hello Everyone, I'm About To Get Started On Sanding The Rust Off Of My 8 3/4 Rearend And I Was Wondering If There Is A Special Kind Of Paint I Need To Repaint It Or Will A Can Of Krylon Do?

Since you mentioned rust I would use Rustoleum on it. I typically like to use high gloss enamel. Enamel takes longer to cure but it is fairly tough.

Ya i just did the same thing with my 8 3/4 earlier this week, i used rustoleum to. Its some good stuff.

Had mine blasted and powder coated with semi-gloss black. It turned out great.

I am doing the exact same thing right now. I am painting the rear with Eastwoods rust converter, followed by Chassis Black paint they sell. I have used the same paint before on an 8 3/4, the stuff is tough as nails.
