Repair possible on Mopar Performance Air Cleaner

I did not do it, but apparently these are going to be discontinued. It was brand new and EBay has none.

I was thinking a little JBWeld and a little touchup of modeling polish aluminum paint.
Or someone in the Chicago area that can fix this professionally at a reasonable cost.

Not happy to receive it installed this way.

You could try your idea first. It's looks like a small area and maybe not too noticeable.
