Hello All,
I'm new to the board and just bought a 68 barracuda notchback with slant six/auto that I will be fixing up to eventually become my daily driver.
I'm going to be doing a little customizing to the vehicle.
The car hasn't arrived from TX yet and so I can't compare the floor pan and fuel tank area with that of my 68 Coronet's.
I like the way my 68 Coronet's filler tube is hidden behind the rear license plate because the gas doesn't accidently run down the side of the car and it looks cleaner.
I was wondering if I could adapt a new 68 Coronet trunk pan and fuel tank to my 68 Cuda? Would there be room for this setup once the spare tire hole was gone? I would add the flip down license plate door and if need be shorten a stock Coronet filler tube. Are the tank strap j-bolt slots and rear slots a part of these new trunk floors?
