Im putting the AC back together in a 1972 Dart. The condenser is leaking where I twisted a fitting getting it off when changing orings. Is there a condenser that will work from a newer vechicle? Im having trouble finding a replacement at the local parts store.

Try Ranshu out of Texas. They are a backdoor wholesale outlet from 4Seasons(who owns everybody else) Google"Ranshu air conditioning",you will find a phone number.Ask a friend who owns a shop,or if you have a resale number.

I've got one from a 76 duster. I'm not sure if it would fit or not? I just pulled it, there are no leaks.

Take the opportunity to put in a better-than-original condenser that will improve cooling and reduce the compressor's torque load on the engine. See here.

I obviously misheard the car model. Either way it is 22 inches for an a body. It does not fit my 65 barracuda. If you are interested i am looking to sell it.

Thanks for the offers, but I already bought and installed a new one. This post was from May 3rd.
