I removed 2 nuts of Strud Rod on 73 Scamp. How do I get it out of it's housing? I read the manual, but it doesn't said anything or I couldn't find it..

Thanks,
Scamp

Be sure to remove the retaining clip at the back , (under the floorboard ) with all the tension off the bar (bolt in the lower control arm located vertically) and the car supported safely with no weight on the front suspension I loosen the nut for the strut rod and the nut for the lower control arm on the front of the k member and with a block of wood or something to protect it I give it a good thump with a big hammer and the T-bar slides out the back.

Oh OK strut rods not torsion bars . well your still gonna need to remove the T-bars.

To remove the strut rods you will have to remove the torsion bars and take off or at least push the lower control arm back enough to get the strut rod off. That is what jomoper is explaining above. You do all that, it might be a good time to replace the lower control arm bushings to.
