replacing wires and fusible link

im trying to replace the main wire from the alternater to the amp gage and batt to amp gage what im not sure about is putting in a fuse link in alt wire ...i think the original had a fuse link in both..can some help me on this....73 duster 74 harness..tx..j

You've prob seen this already...but this is how I wired mine...the second page shows the gauge wire if you did the bypass thing...

Actually,i had not seen this version..for some reason people on this site dont like to answer me..dont know why..any way,id seen and read about this prob before.. my harness i took out was a butcher nitemare..i took a 74 which is the same but different..anyway im really glad you took the time to show me this i havnt seen it before but i am going to copy it in the duster,,,hopefully it will work for me..thankyou for your help...j
