residual pressure valve

..older drum master cylinders have res. pres. valves.
..i have checked a few and have yet to find one,
..how deep in the outlet are they installed and has anybody removed one that they could post a picture of?

I don't have a picture but once you remove the tube seat from the master cylinder it will pop right out.

right out of your shop manual.................

Use a small sheet metal screw threaded into the tube seat center hole to get them out
